Bryon has been in the search industry since 1992 working for both large public companies and regional search firms. He has held the positions of Recruiter, Team Leader, Branch Manager and Area Vice President. Bryon has considerable experience working with publicly traded and privately held firms in the high-tech, bioscience, real estate and financial/professional service industries specializing in the areas of finance and accounting.

As a former Certified Public Accountant, with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting from California State University Chico, Bryon has worked in both public accounting and in private industry. This background combined with his experience in recruiting makes him eminently qualified to assist companies with even the most complex job requirements.

Michael Inserra - Partner

Michael started his recruiting career in 1995 with a national search firm specializing in candidate and client placement in the fields of finance and accounting. Michael was the firms' National Rookie of the Year and a perpetual top National Producer. Michael has substantial interface with clients in Software, Bio-Technology, Professional Services, and Technology Manufacturing based industries.

Prior to 1995, Michael was an investment analyst and capital recruiter with Merrill Lynch and Bear Stearns; as well as a Malcolm Baldridge Award winner for outstanding customer service with the Ritz Carlton Hotel in San Francisco. Michael brings a broad based career, life, and organizational counseling background that brings value to clients and candidates. Michael is a graduate of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.

Carol Greenberg specializes in identifying Finance and Accounting talent in Silicon Valley. She comes to Alchemy Search Partners with 15 years of recruiting/financial analyst/public accounting experience. Ms. Greenberg, a CPA, was a manager with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and Chicago, heading up the Budget and Expense Division and the Management Consulting divisions, respectively. Prior to that, Carol was an auditor for Arthur Andersen in Chicago, specializing in manufacturing, health-care, non-profits, retail and real estate.

Ms. Greenberg holds a BS in Accounting from Villanova University. Because of Carol's well rounded business background, she has a proven record of understanding the technical needs of the client as well as the skills of the candidate, making the hiring process a positive and successful experience for both parties.

John Small - Director

John brings a unique perspective in that he has public accounting (KPMG), Internal Audit with a global, public manufacturing company & executive search. With the addition of Alchemy Search partners John works closely with the Alchemy team to develop new business opportunities and identify the most qualified candidates for those opportunities; both full time roles and interim projects.

John is results-oriented and highly entrepreneurial with a proven history of sales and delivery of professional consulting and staffing services. Additional expertise include market research, mapping and penetration; Strategic and tactical talent acquisition of passive candidates for ourselves, our VC backed and public clients.

John has the ability to identify business opportunities and develop client relationships at all levels among a wide range of industries, including internet, high-tech, semiconductor, telecommunications and start-ups.

Galina Karpinska, SPHR-CA is an HR practitioner with extensive background in HR generalist affairs. Her diverse HR skill set includes talent management, immigration, global mobility, organizational development, employee relations, benefits and compensation, HR records management, HR policies development and administration, and legal compliance. Galina was previously with CBIZ, Tristero Consulting, Luxoft - BPO and ITO providers in different HR roles. Earlier in her career, she held technical and management positions. She was graduated with honors from the National Technical University of Ukraine with Master degree in Information Technology. She is a member of NCHRA, a volunteer at Taproot Foundation. She maintain her SPHR-CA certifications through continuing education..

Manav Singh, SOAProjects, Inc Founding Partner, has over two decades audit and consulting experience. He is an entrepreneur by nature and has opened two successful companies and sold them to Fortune 500. He is a recognized entrepreneur in the valley and specializes in delivery of services to such industries as communications, networking, semiconductor and bio-tech. Manav specializes in the technical areas of internal controls, revenue assurance, FAS 123R and other financial projects. His background includes years with PricewaterhouseCoopers. As one of the founding members of this firm, he has been instrumental in the overall growth of Alchemy and Board member of the Financial Executive International (FEI).
