Lynne DeHart - Director
Lynne started her recruiting career in 1993 and specializes in the search of finance and accounting professionals. She started her recruiting career with a national search firm as Manager of Interim Placement. From there she moved to a premier regional search firm as Senior Account Manger, consistently succeeding as a top producer in both Interim and Direct Hire positions.

Lynne also founded a small regional firm which she successfully managed for 4 years prior to joining Alchemy Search Partners. She brings a strong commitment to customer service, quality placements and building relationships with both clients and candidates. Prior to entering the search field, Lynne’s experience included accounting, office management and customer service in complex real estate transactions (IRC 1031).

Carol Greenberg - Director
Carol Greenberg specializes in identifying Finance and Accounting talent in Silicon Valley. She comes to Alchemy Search Partners with 15 years of recruiting/financial analyst/public accounting experience. Ms. Greenberg, a CPA, was a manager with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and Chicago, heading up the Budget and Expense Division and the Management Consulting divisions, respectively. Prior to that, Carol was an auditor for Arthur Andersen in Chicago, specializing in manufacturing, health-care, non-profits, retail and real estate.

Ms. Greenberg holds a BS in Accounting from Villanova University. Because of Carol's well rounded business background, she has a proven record of understanding the technical needs of the client as well as the skills of the candidate, making the hiring process a positive and successful experience for both parties.

Mark Guterman – Director
Mark has been a career and executive coach and consultant for 30 years, guiding organizations and individuals on how to thrive in the global work place. He is a Principal of MeaningfulCareers.com and is the Chief Coach and Trainer for Springboard Forward. Recently, he was Executive Coach for the Growth and Leadership Center and prior to that was Director of Professional Services for Lee Hecht Harrison.

He is the author of Common Sense for Uncommon Times: The Power of Balance in Work, Family, and Personal Life, co-author of ValueSearch, and developer of many training and development programs used extensively by groups and organizations. Mark also teaches for John F. Kennedy University’s MA program in Career Development and is a frequent speaker to organizations and conferences throughout the United States, Europe, and Australia. Mark holds an MA in Counseling from Sonoma State University and a BA in History and Political Science from UCLA.

Steve Hernandez – Partner
Steve has been an executive recruiter specializing in the accounting and finance field since 1995. He has worked with a variety of Bay Area companies representing a wide range of industries that include banking, financial services, retail, consumer goods, and biotechnology.

Steve incorporates a career development approach to the recruiting process, working closely with candidates on long term career planning, job search strategy, and transition management. Steve has also established a career development services practice at Alchemy. He holds a Master’s degree in Career Development from John F. Kennedy University.

Michael started his recruiting career in 1995 with a national search firm specializing in candidate and client placement in the fields of finance and accounting. Michael was the firms' National Rookie of the Year and a perpetual top National Producer. Michael has substantial interface with clients in Software, Bio-Technology, Professional Services, and Technology Manufacturing based industries.

Prior to 1995, Michael was an investment analyst and capital recruiter with Merrill Lynch and Bear Stearns; as well as a Malcolm Baldridge Award winner for outstanding customer service with the Ritz Carlton Hotel in San Francisco. Michael brings a broad based career, life, and organizational counseling background that brings value to clients and candidates. Michael is a graduate of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.

Diana Kennedy– Search Consultant
Diana Kennedy brings over 5 years of search/recruiting experience with her to Alchemy Search Partners. Previously, she worked for a Regional Search Firm in Silicon Valley specializing in strategic staffing of Accounting and Finance professionals where her success was a direct result of building and maintaining long term client and candidate relationships.

Diana holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Prior to recruiting, she had work experience in accounting which will enable her to understand the needs of our clients. At Alchemy Search Partners, Diana will focus on Contract and Direct Hire search for Accounting and Finance roles.

Bryon McDougall – Partner 
Bryon has been in the search industry since 1992 working for both large public companies and regional search firms. He has held the positions of Recruiter, Team Leader, Branch Manager and Area Vice President. Bryon has considerable experience working with publicly traded and privately held firms in the high-tech, bioscience, real estate and financial/professional service industries specializing in the areas of finance and accounting.

As a Certified Public Accountant, with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting from California State University Chico, Bryon has worked in both public accounting and in private industry. This background combined with his experience in recruiting makes him eminently qualified to assist companies with even the most complex job requirements.
